Gateway Community Health Centre is a registered charitable organization that has been providing accessible primary health care programs and services to Tweed and surrounding area for over 25 years. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for people so that they can reach their full potential. In partnership with primary care and broader sector partners, we ensure that everyone has access to the resources and tools they need to take ownership, not only for their own health, but for the health and wellbeing of the entire community.
Although our core funding for primary health care services is government funded, additional funding for new health and wellness programs, equipment, education, and more recently, some cost for our new building, relies solely on donations.
Gateway provides a wide range of free programs that support pregnant moms, early years support for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, elementary school children, youth, seniors and those who live with a chronic disease.
